Cornerstone Association of REALTORS® (Cornerstone) is excited to announce a new initiative to foster collaboration within the real estate industry. Effective immediately, Cornerstone will eliminate entrance fees for new members and brokerages joining from an association that is or was an ITSO member in 2024. This offer will be available until the end of March 2025.
The Cornerstone leadership believes that all Ontario REALTORS® must have access to all Ontario MLS information and supports this by prioritizing collaboration and data sharing, demonstrating a solid commitment to breaking down barriers within the real estate sector. The association is eager to work with any Ontario real estate board, association, or listing platform to facilitate seamless integration and enhance the industry’s overall efficiency.
But Cornerstone also respects the right for other associations to choose the system of their choice and acknowledges that while the landscape of multiple systems in Ontario has not fundamentally changed, the borders have certainly shifted.
“We are thrilled to offer this opportunity to new members transitioning from ITSO associations. At Cornerstone, our core values revolve around collaboration and partnership, and this initiative is a testament to our commitment to working together with other boards and systems. By removing the entrance fees, we hope to make the transition smoother and more accessible, ultimately benefiting the entire real estate community. We want to eliminate as much of this financial burden from members as we can, and we look forward to evaluating the program’s impact and exploring further opportunities for collaboration in the future,” says Julie Sergi, Chair of Cornerstone Association of REALTORS®.
