Consider serving on a Cornerstone 2025-26 Committee!
Cornerstone’s mission is to lead with purpose, advocate boldly and create positive change for the success of our members. As a committee member, you will play a key role in shaping the policies, services and experiences for all members.
Cornerstone’s Inaugural 2025-26 Committees:
Government Relations Committee
The Government Relations Committee (GRC) provides strategic direction and support for Cornerstone’s advocacy initiatives, policies, and programs. The GRC advocates for policies that include protecting property rights, promoting economic growth, fostering sustainable development, enhancing housing attainability, and increasing housing supply.
Innovation Committee (MLS® & Tech)
The Innovation Committee is dedicated to supporting and advancing the operations of real estate listing systems and related technologies. Composed of Cornerstone and ITSO representatives, this committee would provide guidance on new innovations, addresses member needs, and ensures compliance with best practices and regulatory standards. Among other responsibilities, its work includes recommending enhancements and resolving technology-related issues.
Member Engagement Committee
The Member Engagement Committee (MEC) fosters relationships between Cornerstone and its members by supporting initiatives that gather data to track, assess, and enhance member engagement. Activities of the MEC include acting as ambassadors for new programs and services, encouraging member participation in meetings and events, and conducting outreach to members.
Professionalism Committee
The Professionalism Committee aims to elevate members’ professionalism, regulatory knowledge, and competency. It assesses the current professional and political landscape, reviews key industry changes, and develops recommendations for improvement. Among other responsibilities, the committee would focus on addressing common issues and enhancing education and professional development.
A few notes:
Every effort will be made to place all applicants on a committee; however, positions will be based on availability, required skills, committee terms of reference and in compliance with Cornerstone Bylaws.
Committee meetings are held fewer than six times per year, typically lasting 1-2 hours, and scheduled during business hours (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.).
